At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the challenge was to standardize the format of sample data from various tests conducted across the country. THE CIMR has developed the Sample Recommendation Form (SRF) for use with any COVID-19 sample; NIC developed the Rt-PCR and RATI mobile applications on Android, iOS and Windows phones for ICMR as well as the web portal to whitelist phlebotomists (sample collectors) for the use of mobile applications and the web portal. The majority of states/UTs use RT-PCR, RATI applications to collect COVID-19 sample data. More than 7,200 CIMR laboratories use sample data to capture results. The RT-PCR app is a portable tool for medical staff at sampling centers across the country. The sampling facility will send the sample for different types of samples to ciMRI laboratories that will perform the RT-PCR test to confirm COVID-19. Prior information is shared with ICMR via the app. After successfully saving a sample, the collection center and the user can view the collection details. Configurable – Ignore the patient`s OTP for review and alert when multiple use of the same patient Single sign-on with official government email credentials and mobile phone number-based access for labs (including personal devices), collection centers, and sample collectors Robust and reliable cloud infrastructure with redundancy, no downtime and regional databases with portal and responsive applications, tested for 50,000 simultaneous users RT-PCR application: NIC Mobile Application for containment and surveillance of the COVID-19 pandemic across the country RT-PCR, rapid antigen and rapid antibodies covered Correct mobile patient, geo-tagging and sharing with mobile application Arogya Setu helps with contact tracing and identification of containment zones. The app has recently received various awards, including: Ability to enter data offline after generating the SRF-ID CSI Award of Recognition at the 18th edition of the CSI SIG eGovernance Awards 2020 Gems of Digital India Award 2020 at the SKOCH Smart Governance Awards For more information, please visit: covid19cc.nic.in download function allows health officials, to laboratories and collection centers, use SRF data in their own applications, saving data entry effort.
Gold Icon Award at the Digital India Awards 2020 in the category Innovation in pandemic SRF data accessible from ICMR Labs in real time. Data analysis, automatic alert SMS/email, and GIS-integrated state-level applications use output to verify and authenticate RT-PCR SRF reports. .
